19th October 2011 UDP today announced the purchase of the Murray Bridge and Jervois sites from Lion / National Foods. The anticipated completion date for the handover will be 30th January 2012. Jervois manufactures Australia's leading Pizza Cheese brand Caboolture. The Caboolture brand will continue to grow, and UDP will heavily promote and expand this brand within Australia at completion of takeover. Purchasers of Caboolture will continue to enjoy the success this product delivers. The Murray Bridge site supplies a diverse range of products from Cheddar Cheese, through to Hard Grating Cheese, in bulk and rounds. MB also makes a number of value added dairy products. UDP and Lion have entered into a contract pack arrangement to continue to manufacture several leading iconic branded products on Lion's behalf.

23rd June 2011 - UDP today announced their milk opening price for the 2011/2012 milk season at $5.30 kg milk solids. UDP Managing Director Tony Esposito said that the continuing strength of demand in dairy products into the new season shows confidence in the dairy industry. General Manager Darryl Cardona said that UDP have undertaken an extensive campaign throughout regional Victoria and into South Australia to recruit new supply as our business grows into new and exciting area's.
